Liverpool are interested in signing Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Liverpool have been closely monitoring Gray and have been scouting him in action for Leeds, who are playing in the Championship this season after getting relegated from the Premier League.
Gray has come through the Leeds youth academy and has established himself in the first team. The 17-year-old is a midfielder by trade, but he has been playing as a right-back in recent matches. Gray has made 13 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season.
Liverpool are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 12 matches, a point behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City. Meanwhile, Leeds currently find themselves third in the Championship table with 31 points from 16 matches, eight points behind Leicester City and Ipswich Town, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
