Philippe Coutinho is back on Barcelona radar despite contrasting claims suggesting Catalan giants have shifted their focus to other potential midfield targets.

The Catalans unsuccessfully attempted to break Liverpool’s firm stance on the Brazilian playmaker during summer. Liverpool’s resilience even saw Coutinho himself submit a transfer request, but Reds remained firmly determined to keep hold of him for the 2017/18 season.

And with start of the new campaign going south for the Anfield-based club the relationship between Jurgen Klopp and Coutinho is said to have worsened and it is now getting increasingly likely that Liverpool will ultimately allow their star player to leave.

Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo have suggested that Liverpool even determined the price for the Brazilian magician.

The Merseyside rejected a £114 million offer for Coutinho in August and now appear to be willing to sell the Brazilian for a whopping £134 million according to the same report.
