Liverpool set to lose Moreno

According to reports in England, Liverpool are set to lose Alberto Moreno on a free transfer next summer. The 26 year old Spaniard has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield, and it appears as if he won’t be featuring into Jurgen Klopp’s plans at all over the course of this season. Moreno was once considered to be a big part of the operation for the Reds, but as they’ve improved, Moreno hasn’t been able to get into the starting XI ahead of Andrew Robertson.

It’s been said that Barcelona are interested in signing him as either a back up or first team defender, which makes you think about just how well Robertson is doing for Liverpool.

The Reds are on track to make a push for the title this season, and it’ll be interesting to see where Moreno ends up going from here with there being plenty of options regarding his future.
