Liverpool set to pursue Mbappe

According to a recent report from Sport, Liverpool still possess a real interest in trying to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

Recent claims had been made that Mbappe was out of their league, but when you take one look at the situation facing both PSG and Liverpool, the results are pretty stark. PSG may have been able to reach the Champions League final but they didn’t quite get over the finish line to win it, whereas the Reds have now won the European Cup six times after their success over Tottenham Hotspur last year.

Mbappe himself has even hinted that he could be interested in a switch to Anfield in the past, and out of all the top European clubs out there, Liverpool are the ones that seem to have a clear direction under their current leadership. Real Madrid, on the other hand, aren’t making a particularly convincing case for themselves.
