Liverpool set to sign youngster

English giants Liverpool FC are set to sign 16 year old Jesús Fernández Sáez from Cadiz, according to reports from Spain.

It is also understood that Real Madrid and Barcelona were also trying to sign the midfielder.

But the 16-year-old, nicknamed Suso, will sign a five-year contract with The Reds.

The move comes after several months tracking the midfielder with neither of the Spanish giants Real Madrid nor Barcelona able to be as persuasive as The Reds.

Cadiz will be paid compensation and, although a figure has not been specified, it is believed to be more than the payment due to the Spanish team to take over the player’s academy contract.
