(GSM) – Liverpool have finally signed Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen from Juventus in a £4.5 million deal.
Poulsen joins the Anfield outfit on a three-year contract with the Reds set to pay Juventus the transfer fee in two installments of £2.25m each.
The 30-year-old was first given his big break in football by current Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson when the latter was coach of København.
The Denmark international, who has 77 international caps, will now clear the way for Javier Mascherano who has publicly spoken of his desire to quit English football with Internazionale as his most possible destination.
