Premier League high-flyers Liverpool and Southampton are both hot on the trail of Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca, according to Marca.
The 19-year-old was given a chance to impress at senior level following some fine performances for the reserves in Segunda B, and he has grabbed it with both hands.
Roca did well to secure regular playing time in his maiden La Liga campaign and has so far started six league fixtures, while making one substitute appearance.
He has even managed to catch the eye of Premier League sides Liverpool and Southampton, who could be making their moves in the January window.
Namely, Roca has just another year left on his current deal and a €1.5 million release clause, although he is currently in talks with Espanyol over a new contract.
His suitors Liverpool have been in excellent form of late, and they can be backed at 4/1 to win their first ever Premier League trophy.
