When you score 200 goals for a club, it’s obviously not easy to remember some particular details. It was actually a consequence of a bad mistake by City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, and Liverpool’s triumph in that game ended City’s hopes of going through the season unbeaten.
City have, of course, paid Liverpool back more than once, though they did suffer several defeats against them since as well.
Topping the Premier League table at the moment with just a point separating them in City’s favour, the two teams will meet at the Etihad on Saturday, and it will surely be another blockbuster between two fierce rivals.
