Liverpool star Mohamed Salah speaks about his 40-yard goal against Manchester City ahead of Etihad trip (Video)

When you score 200 goals for a club, it’s obviously not easy to remember some particular details. Mohamed Salah can arguably be forgiven for not getting the answer to this question right straight away, but his longest ever range goal was the one he scored in the Reds’ 4-3 win against Manchester City back in early 2018.

It was actually a consequence of a bad mistake by City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, and Liverpool’s triumph in that game ended City’s hopes of going through the season unbeaten.

City have, of course, paid Liverpool back more than once, though they did suffer several defeats against them since as well.

Topping the Premier League table at the moment with just a point separating them in City’s favour, the two teams will meet at the Etihad on Saturday, and it will surely be another blockbuster between two fierce rivals.
