Liverpool step up Huntelaar chase

(GSM) – Liverpool are a serious candidate to release Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from his hopeless situation at Milan.

The Dutch striker is continuously linked with a move away from the San Siro and the Rossoneri managers are more than willing to sell the former Real Madrid player who failed to make an impact in his first season in the Serie A.

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson wants to add Huntelaar to his squad but it may only be a loan deal that gets him there.

If the loan move is approved by Milan, the Reds will have an option to buy him permanently down the track when their current financial burden is eased.
