Liverpool have been the most frequent participants of early kick-off matches on Saturdays in the Premier League, and former manager Jurgen Klopp was never shy to express his displeasure about it.
Arne Slot, who has replaced Klopp in the Anfield dugout, says it looks like his players still don’t like playing at 12:30 BST, if their performance in the first half of the season opener against Ipswich is anything to go by.
Arne Slot on his first impressions of the Premier League:
“I was told that Jurgen hated the 12:30 kick off and today the team showed that we hate the 12:30 kick off because we were not in the game in the first half!” 😂
