Liverpool still want Coutinho

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool are going to continue to monitor the situation surrounding Philippe Coutinho and his future at Barcelona. The Brazilian star is said to be open to the possibility of a return to the Premier League, if he does indeed leave the Nou Camp this summer. Coutinho started off well in his spell at Barca, but over the course of the last year or so, he just hasn’t been able to find that consistency which made him a star in the first place at Anfield. Now, with the chance to return to familiar surroundings, it certainly feels like the wheels are turning and the possibility of a move back to Merseyside is growing.

Liverpool, who are the current Champions of Europe, already have a fantastic selection of attacking stars within their ranks, but they seem to be stacking the deck to ensure that they can push Manchester City all the way in next season’s title race.
