Liverpool target Aurelien Tchouameni wants to stay at Real Madrid

Real Madrid defensive midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni does not want to move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that Premier League club Liverpool are among a number of clubs who are keen on securing the services of Tchouameni, but La Liga outfit Madrid do not want to sell him.

The report has claimed that Tchouameni himself does not want to leave Madrid for Liverpool or any other club for that matter in the summer transfer window. The defensive midfielder joined Madrid from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco in the summer of 2022 and wants to be a success at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Tchouameni made 24 starts and nine substitute appearances in La Liga for Madrid last season, providing four assists in the process. The 23-year-old defensive midfielder made five starts and five substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Los Blancos last season.
