Liverpool have shown interest in Twente forward Luuk de Jong, according to The Guardian.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form at the start of the season, bagging seven goals in just eight appearances.
De Jong even won his first Netherlands cap in February and is considered as one of the hottest prospects in Dutch Eredivisie.
Liverpool have been alerted of the player’s potential and they are pondering a January bid for the highly rated striker.
According to Guardian, the Reds are ready to offer £10 million for De Jong, which is reportedly close to Twente’s valuation of the player.
