Caen highly rated striker M’Baye Niang could leave the club this summer as his contract is set to be annulled.
The 16-year-old striker has already attracted interest from sides like Liverpool and Tottenham, and the two clubs will be glad to hear that the player could soon become a free agent.
The youngster only signed a new contract with Caen last winter, but his father’s lawyer claims that the deal is not valid.
“In terms of an important document such as an employment contract, the two parents have to sign on behalf of their child under the age of 18,” the lawyer of Niang’s father Khaldi Ouadi told Le Parisien.
“The father has not signed the contract and he is planning to initiate proceedings to render the contract null and void.”
Despite his fragile age, Niang has already made seven first team appearances, scoring three goals in the process and is widely considered as one of the hottest prospects in Ligue 1.
