According to reports in England, Liverpool are set to demand £20 million for forward Divock Origi. The Belgian clearly no longer has a place at Anfield with much speculation as to why he hasn’t been sold already, with local rivals Everton reportedly being interested in acquiring his services. Perhaps that’s the reason the Reds are set to ask for such a high fee, because many would argue that Origi isn’t worth that kind of money.
He has certainly had flashes of brilliance throughout his time in English football, but he hasn’t been consistent enough to warrant a sustained place in the starting XI with the Premier League giants. Jurgen Klopp never appears to have been much of a fan of his abilities, and even if he was, Divock has likely never been good enough to warrant a start ahead of people like Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and the always dangerous Sadio Mane.
