Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in signing Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that United recently held talks with his agent Jorge Mendes over a potential move, and now their Premier League rivals Liverpool are planning to meet him.
TEAMtalk has claimed that Manchester City are also keen on a deal for Quenda and will hold talks with Mendes. RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain want the 17-year-old Sporting winger as well. The Portugal Under-21 international has been on the books of the Lisbon club since 2019 and is now part of the first-team set-up.
Quenda has made nine starts and two substitute appearances in the Primeira Liga for Sporting so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The teenager has given one assist in four starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League so far this campaign. Sporting are six points clear at the top of the league table at the moment.
