Liverpool are eager to dispose of at least three players in January as the Reds hope to slash their substantial wage bill.
Ryan Babel, Daniel Pacheco and summer signing Milan Jovanovic will be told they can leave the club, with Roy Hodgson already looking for replacements.
Ryan Babel’s status hasn’t changed much even after the departure of Rafa Benitez, so the Dutchman will be allowed to look for a new club.
Daniel Pacheco’s injury problems prevented the Spain Under-21 international from proving his potential at Anfield and Roy Hodgson doesn’t see him as someone who could improve the quality of the team in the near future.
Serbian winger Milan Jovanovic will also be shown the door, just six months after arriving to Anfield on a free transfer, while few other players could also be made available for sale.
