Liverpool have had a bid accepted for Inter forward Philippe Coutinho, according to BBC Sport.
The Reds had two bids for the Brazilian rejected before the Neroazzurri finally accepted their £8.5 million proposal.
As a result, Coutinho is expected to undergo a medical at Anfield on Monday, although he also needs to be granted a work permit before the transfer can be made official.
Southampton are believed to have offered more money than their Premiership rivals for the highly rated player, but Coutinho’s desire to join the Reds eventually prevailed.
