Liverpool turned down by Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior?

Liverpool are interested in signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021, according to Anfield Central. It has been reported that the defending Premier League champions have made contact with the Brazilian winger and his representatives over a move to Anfield at the end of the season.

The report has added that Vinicius Junior and his representatives have told Liverpool that they are not looking to move anytime soon. The winger is happy at Spanish and European giants Madrid and has established himself as an important player in the team, scoring twice against Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie this week.

According to WhoScored, the Brazilian has made 14 starts and 12 substitute appearances in La Liga for Madrid so far this season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process. The winger has also made five starts and four substitute appearances in the Champions League for Los Blancos this campaign, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
