Liverpool undecided over Giorgi Mamardashvili arrival

Liverpool could decide not to bring Giorgi Mamardashvili to Anfield in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. Mamardashvili officially signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2024 and stayed at Valencia for this season and is supposed to join up with the Premier League club this summer, but Reds manager Arne Slot could decide to delay his arrival.

Alisson is the number one goalkeeper for Liverpool, and although the Brazil international has had injury problems, when fit and available, he has been superb for the Premier League giants. The Reds have not yet decided whether to keep or sell Alisson in the summer of 2025. If the Brazilian stays at Anfield, then Slot may not bring Mamardashvili to the club this summer.

Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 64 points from 27 matches, 11 points clear of second-placed Arsenal, who have played 26 games. The Reds will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League this season.
