Barcelona are expected to return for Philippe Coutinho after seeing their multiple approaches rebuffed by Liverpool last summer.
The Reds will have hard time keeping their Brazilian magician for much longer especially if their poor run of form continues.
Coutinho himself remains keen to move to Camp Nou whereas the Barcelona new boss Ernesto Valverde has also made former Inter Milan playmaker a January priority.
According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Jurgen Klopp could be willing to do business with Barcelona but would demand that Gerard Deulofeu gets included in an exchange deal.
Barcelona activated the buy-back clause for Deulofeu last summer when they chose to re-sign the 23-year-old midfielder from Everton. Following the world-record sale of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain and Ousmane Dembele’s injury, Deulofeu has seen a dramatic increase in playing time.
The Spanish international midfielder has so far made seven La Liga appearances during which he managed to score one goal as well.
