Liverpool want FC Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira

Liverpool are interested in signing Fabio Vieira from FC Porto in the summer transfer window, according to Portuguese journalist Bruno Andrade. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on his Twitter account that there will be more interest in the youngster.

Vieira has been on the books of Porto since 2008 and has come through the ranks. The Portugal Under-21 international has established himself in the first team and is a very good and promising young player. The 21-year-old made three starts and 16 substitute appearances in the league for Porto this past season, providing one assist in the process. The youngster also made two starts and four substitute appearances in the Champions League, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.

Liverpool failed to successfully defend their Premier League title this  past season and will be keen on reclaiming the championship from Manchester City.
