Liverpool want Olmo

According to Marca, Liverpool are interested in signing Dani Olmo. The 20 year old, who initially joined Barcelona’s youth system at the age of nine, has been with Dinamo Zagreb ever since 2014. AC Milan have been the primary club monitoring his services, ever since the youngster burst onto the scene in a big way last year.

Alas, Liverpool are certainly capable of luring big name players to the club, as we’ve seen with their transfer dealings in recent seasons. Jurgen Klopp has been able to turn the Reds into a team capable of competing with the biggest sides in European football once again, which could turn the tide in their favour when it comes to the race for Olmo’s signature.

The winger could well be a major force to be reckoned with in the realms of both domestic and international football, but it may take another few years of development before we truly discover what kind of player he’ll turn out to be.
