Liverpool want to keep Origi

According to a recent report from Liverpool Echo, the Reds are not planning on letting Divock Origi go during the summer transfer window. The Champions League final hero is now into the last 12 months of his contract at the club, with new terms not yet being agreed between the two parties. Liverpool will be running the risk of him leaving on a free transfer next season, and it certainly seems like there would be a number of interested parties given the end to the season that he has had.

The Belgian was once considered to be a bit of a flop, but courtesy of a few really important goals this season, he has suddenly gone way up in the estimation of Liverpool fan around the world. He’s talented and he’s still quite young, and as such, it’ll be fascinating to see where he goes from here – depending on what he wants to do.
