Liverpool are interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli in the summer of 2024, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool could have to pay as much as €120 million in transfer fees for the Nigeria international striker.
Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world and has been brilliant for Napoli in recent years. The 24-year-old has scored six goals in seven Serie A starts for the Naples outfit this season. The Nigeria international scored 26 goals and gave four assists in 30 Serie A starts last season. Napoli won the Scudetto last campaign.
Liverpool are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from eight matches, three points behind Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, who are first and second respectively in the standings. Meanwhile, Napoli currently find themselves fifth in the Serie A table with 14 points from eight matches, seven points behind leaders AC Milan.
