Arsenal booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals against Manchester United at Old Trafford, which now has the supporters dreaming of back-to-back FA Cup triumphs. They will face Reading/Bradford which gibes the Londoners a real opportunity to make the final again at Wembley this season.

As for who they could face, Liverpool/Blackburn and Aston Villa are still in the competition. Liverpool drew to their Championship opponents at Anfield, so they will need to emerge victorious at Ewood Park to progress, where they will face Aston Villa. It won’t be a formality, however, given how the Reds have both won and lost against the Midlands outfit this season, but they are expected to reach the final.

Liverpool and Arsenal last met in an FA Cup final back in 2001, with Michael Owen scoring twice to earn the Merseysiders victory at Wembley. Arsenal have since gotten their revenge, winning each of their last three meetings in the cup competition – with the most recent being last season’s 4th round win at the Emirates in February.

And with the two Premier League elite sides facing lesser opposition this time round, William Hill are giving odds of 5/6 for Liverpool and Arsenal to be this season’s FA Cup finalists.
