Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani believes his injuries during his time with Roma were treated badly. The big summer signing of the Reds (€ 22.5 million) claims that the medics of his new club Liverpool adopt an entirely different approach which is already proving to work out well for him.
Aquilani thinks that the medics at Roma rushed him back too soon after his injuries.
The 25-year-old, bought as a replacement for Xabi Alonso, is happy with the way he`s treated by the Liverpool medical team.
`I have noted a big difference here. From the first moment I was told I would not be rushed back into action to avoid further problems.
Now I cannot wait to put all my physical problems behind me,’ he said to Il Corriere Dello Sport.
Aquilani is recovering well from his ankle injury which he picked up this summer. It`s reported he could make his Liverpool debut within two weeks.
