With Liverpool striker Luis Suarez currently holding talks with La Liga giants Barcelona, the Uruguayan international looks to be on his way out of Anfield this summer.

The infamous bite on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini in this summer’s World Cup looks to have severed his Liverpool ties for good. The club have stood by him during many incidents since signing him in 2011.

Last season, he was performing on another level in the Premier League, scoring 31 goals in 33 games. Barcelona have long been interested in him, but Liverpool reluctance to sell has been the decisive stumbling block.

However, with the Merseyside outfit looking to cash in on the striker, Barcelona will have their man if they can meet the Reds’ asking price. And as a result, 888 Sport are giving odds of 1/3 for the Uruguayan to make the move to the Catalan giants this summer.

Barcelona are undergoing big changes of ending the 2013/14 campaign trophyless. New manager Luis Enrique has already brought in two new first-team players, goalkeeper Claudio Bravo and midfielder Ivan Rakitic. Now he wants a natural striker to provide goals alongside the likes of Messi, Pedro, Sanchez and Neymar.
