(GSM) – Roma are keen on signing Livorno defender Dario Knezevic, according to Amaranto President Aldo Spinelli.
The 28-year-old Croatia international is linking with Roma as Livorno relegated again to Serie B after finishing last.
“Roma are really interested in our defender,” Spinelli said about the reports of Roma’s interest in Knezevic.
“We have had a chat with their director of sport Daniele Prade, but we would like to wait until June 25 to resolve all our co-ownership deals.
“There are also other teams in Serie A who would like to sign the Croat [Bari and Chievo], but the absolute priority of the lad is to play for Roma.
“Prade has put a couple of youngsters on the plate, but right now it’s too soon to speak about it.”
