Serie A club Livorno have completed the signing of young Austrian midfielder Jurgen Prutsch from Sturm Graz. The 20 year old has signed a four year contract with the Tuscan outfit. According to reports, Livorno have paid Sturm Graz around 300,000 euros for Prutsch’s services.
Prutsch started his career as a boy with SV Feldkirchen in 1996 before joining Grazer AK in 2001. He turned professional in 2006 and transferred a year later to Sturm Graz. At Sturm, he primarily played for the amateur team and was also loaned out to SC Rheindorf Altach in 2009. He has been capped by Austria at U-19 and U-20 levels.
Prutsch is expected to be a replacement for Antonio Candreva, who left the Amaranto recently for Juventus.
