According to a recent report from Sky Italia, former Tottenham Hotspur forward Fernando Llorente has agreed to a two-year loan deal with Serie A giants Napoli. The 34 year old has been a free agent for a few months now, ever since his aforementioned tenure with Spurs came to a natural conclusion. The unconventional forward is set to take part in a medical that will happen over the course of the weekend, as he edges closer and closer to what will likely be the final big move of his career.
Prior to this deal with Napoli coming to fruition, he was heavily linked with a move to several top clubs around Europe such as Tottenham themselves, Fiorentina and Manchester United.
Now, though, his goal will be to help Napoli try and wrestle control of the title away from Juventus, in addition to helping them get through a Champions League group that will see him return to England to play Liverpool.
