Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has signed a new deal that will keep him at the Stade Gerland until 2015.

The 24-year-old, who looks set to feature in France’s upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers against Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina, signed a two-year extension on top of his current 2013 deal.

Lloris was linked with Liverpool and Roma in the summer but has decided to commit his future to the Ligue 1 outfit.

A note on the club’s official website read: “Olympique Lyonnais are delighted to announce the extension of Hugo Lloris’ contract for a further two years.”

Lloris is currently on international duty with France. Laurent Blanc’s men play Albania on Friday night in their Group D match in Paris.

France lead the group with 17 points from eight matches.

In other contract news, Porto left-back Alvaro Pereira has ended months of speculation surrounding his future by signing a new deal that will keep him at the Portuguese champions until 2016.

The Uruguay international, 25, was close to joining Chelsea in the summer, but a move failed to materialise as Porto refused to settle for less than €30 million.

And after his agent Flavio Perchman said a new deal was on the horizon just a few days ago, Porto have moved to make it official.

“The Football Club Porto informs the market of the extension to Alvaro Pereira’s contract until June 2016. The release clause remains set at €30 million,” a statement on the club’s website read.

Pereira’s previous deal was set to expire in 2015.
