According to L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain have opened the door for Giovani Lo Celso to leave the club. The Argentine midfielder, aged 22, joined PSG from Rosario Central – but hasn’t quite been able to make his desired impact with the French champions. This season, in particular, he’s only received a quick cameo appearance in PSG’s first two games of the campaign.
The report suggests that PSG would consider any kind of ‘interesting’ offer for the midfielder, as he goes in search of regular first team football. PSG’s midfield situation is certainly an interesting one right now with Rabiot also being linked with a move away from the club, seemingly indicating that they’re going to have an intriguing and busy end to the summer transfer window. That’s not exactly all too surprising, but still, even by PSG’s standards, it seems as if they’re going all out in order to ensure they can compete in the Champions League this season.
