Loftus-Cheek set for January loan move

The Mail Online understands that Reuben Loftus-Cheek is set for another loan move away from Chelsea once the transfer window reopens.

The England international decided to stay at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of manager Maurizio Sarri to fight for his first team place.

However, he has been limited to just thirty-three minutes of league football this season with N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley ahead of him in the pecking order along with summer signings Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.

Loftus-Cheek spent last season at Crystal Palace where he racked up twenty-five appearances in all competitions, scoring twice and the Eagles could well make a bid to bring him back to Selhurst Park.

Everton have also been mooted as potential suitors for the twenty-two-year old who played in four of England’s games at the World Cup finals in Russia in the summer.

He will hope to win his tenth senior cap as England take on Spain in Seville on Monday evening.
