The Mirror understands that Reuben Loftus Cheek will not be allowed to go out on loan in January.

West Ham United have been linked with a temporary move for the twenty-two-year-old, who is yet to start in the Premier League this season.

However, Maurizio Sarri has seen enough to convince him to keep him in the fold, with the England international having scored a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over BATE in the Europa League last month and netting off the bench against Burnley three days later.

Loftus-Cheek spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, where he racked up twenty-five appearances in all competitions and scored two goals.

His performances for the Eagles were enough to see him selected for England’s World Cup squad, with the midfielder playing in four of the Three Lions’ games at the tournament while his next cap will be the tenth he has received at senior level.
