Loic Remy linked with Ligue 1 return

French newspaper Ouest France has learned that Rennes have been showing interest in Chelsea striker Loic Remy.

The 30-year-old has largely struggled for playing time over the last couple of years, making just 10 starts in last three Premier League campaigns.

With one year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge, a summer exit appears on the cards, and a return to France seems like a realistic possibility.

Having failed to lure Andre-Pierre Gignac and Vincent Aboubakar to Roazhon Park, Rennes have set their sights on Loic Remy.

Ouest France claims that Marseille and Fenerbahce are also showing interest in the forward who had represented Lyon, Lens, Nice and Marseille in his native country.
