French striker Loic Remy is nearing closer to leaving Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to the latest reports.
The 28-year-old was never given a real chance to shine at Stamford Bridge and he only started one Premier League fixture this term.
And with Chelsea expected to recruit a high-profile striker in January, chances are he will be offloaded at the earliest opportunity.
Ligue 1 high flyers Saint Etienne recently emerged as the favourites for the striker’s signature, although France Football claims that les Verts could struggle to meet his wage demands.
On the other hand, Daily Express has suggested that Swansea could make a move on the former QPR and Newcastle United footballer.
Loic Remy did well to score 7 goals in just 6 Premier League starts last season, but he spent fewer than 150 minutes on the pitch this term when it comes to league games, scoring his only goal in the 2-1 loss to leaders Leicester City.
