Club Brugge leave the Belgian 1e Klasse lead to rivals Anderlecht, having crashed to a 2-0 defest by Sporting Club Lokeren on Sunday.

After Anderlecht’s 5-1 win over AFC Tubize a day earlier, Brugge knew that a win was required to spend another week in first place.

But Lokeren had different ideas and Maazou put the home team ahead after 19 minutes. And with twelve minutes to go, a second was added by Camara.

After 15 games, Anderlecht have a one-point advantage over Brugge. Standard de Liege follow in third place at another three points.
