Lokomotiv legend Loskov returns home

Russian veteran Dmitri Loskov has sealed an emotional return to Lokomotiv by signing a six month deal with the club after his release from FC Saturn.

Loskov, 36, holds the record for most appearances in the Russian Premier League by a Lokomotiv player. He will wear the No.10 shirt at Lokomotiv and both parties will discuss the possibility of an extension to his contract after the end of the 2010 RPL.

Kurgan born Loskov started his career with Rostselmash before joining Lokomotiv in 1997. Loskov is regarded as one of the best players ever to don a Lokomotiv shirt and was recognised by Sport-Express as the best midfielder in the League six times between 1999 and 2005.
