Having seen his dream move to Liverpool turn into a nightmare in just a couple of month, Belgium striker Christian Benteke is ready to quit Anfield with several clubs having already expressed interest for his services.
According to Mirror, the 25-year-old forward is a target for Crystal Palace and West Ham, who are ready to get in a tug of war for the Liverpool player.
Alan Pardew’s side has missed out on Michy Batshuayi who is set to seal a £33 million transfer to Chelsea and Crystal Palace have turned their attention towards Benteke, who is also a target for West Ham.
Slaven Bilic has identified Alexandre Lacazette as his top priority, but Lyon are holding on for the whopping £40 million fee plus add-ons for the French striker and Hammers could opt to go for Benteke instead as Liverpool fringe man would be a more affordable solution.
Christian Benteke was signed by Brendan Rodgers from Aston Villa for a fee worth £32.5 million, but the 25-year-old Belgium international played only 29 matched 14 of which were starts for Reds, scoring nine goals in the process.
