Long makes Hull switch

Hull City have completed the signing of Shane Long from Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion, according to the Mirror.

The 26 year old Republic of Ireland international was originally linked with a move to the KC Stadium in the summer, but remained with the Baggies where he scored three goals in fifteen appearances for them so far this season.

In his two-and-a-half years in the West Midlands club, Long bagged twenty-two goals in all competitions, having signed from Reading in the summer of 2011.

He becomes the second striker to join Steve Bruce’s side this week, following the arrival of Nikica Jelavic from Everton, and both could make their debut at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Victory for City will see them maintain their place in the top half of the division, and you can back them to take all three points from their visit to Carrow Road at 21/10.
