Lookman to Leipzig off?

“It’s very unlikely that Everton will give him away”. Those are the short and sweet words of RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick, who commented on the possibility of Ademola Lookman coming to the club. It’s no secret that they tried to bring him in during the summer transfer window to no avail, and it’s also no secret that Everton really didn’t want to sell him. That still appears to be the case, although this could always be a move that is done in order to try and cause a reaction from the Toffees.

Lookman had a great loan spell with Leipzig last season and they obviously still want to bring him back to Germany, but in equal measure, the future looks bright for Everton too. While this next decision in his career isn’t going to define him in any way, shape or form, it will be interesting to see which division appeals to him the most.
