Lopetegui ignores Neymar and Mbappe talk

In the wake of great speculation throughout the course of the summer transfer window, Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui has attempted to avoid all talks surrounding Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. The two world class forwards have both been heavily linked with moves to the Bernabeu, but Lopetegui claimed that he only wanted to talk about the players that are at his club – although he did take the time to call them both ‘fantastic’ players.

Neymar, who formerly played for Real’s rivals Barcelona, has been linked with a move to Madrid for a few years now. He’s currently tearing it up over in France with PSG, but it could only be a matter of time before he secures a big money move to the club.

Mbappe, on the other hand, is arguably the most exciting player in world football after playing a big role in guiding France to World Cup glory in Russia.
