Having rejected the post of Wolverhampton Wanderers manager only a couple of weeks ago, Julen Lopetegui is reportedly again in talks with the Premier League side, and according to John Percy of The Telegraph, the Spanish tactician has instigated the new round of talks himself.
Lopetegui was sacked by Sevilla after an embarrassing defeat at home at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on October 5th, and as Wolves parted ways with Bruno Lage at that time too, they were keen on bringing the former Spain and Real Madrid boss to the Molineux, believing him to be the right man to lead their team upwards in face of the prospect of relegation. Lopetegui declined, apparently putting family reasons up as the main factor in his decision.
However, something has obviously changed in that aspect, and the 56-year-old could soon take over from interim Wolves bosses Steve Davis and James Collins.
