Italian champions Juventus are planning a summer assault on AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri are close to reaching an agreement with Liverpool star Emre Can, who is expected to arrive on a free transfer, and they are slowly turning their attention towards the Giallorossi starlet.
Having been impressed with his performances since returning to Stadio Olimpico, Juventus are reportedly prepared to match the player’s €25 million release clause.
That means that all that is left is for the Bianconeri to persuade Pellegrini to move to Turin.
Having already seen Miralem Pjanic join Juventus, AS Roma officials will give their best to convince Pellegrini to stay, but that will be no easy task.
Pellegrini returned to Stadio Olimpico last summer after a successful stint with Sassuolo, and went on to make 18 league appearances, scoring 2 goals.
