Competition: MLS
Market: Los Angeles FC win
Odds: 7/10 @ Bet 365
Looking to bounce back from their shock defeat last time out, Western leaders LAFC will make the trip to a struggling Orlando on Sunday.
Starting with the hosts, although Orlando may have shown some minor glimmers sporadically this season, the Purples are coming off the back of a 3-0 hammering away at San Jose and have once again slumped back to their worst. With Head Coach James O’Connor seeing his side pick up just a single win since the 3rd of August, they have also now lost back-to-back contests and find themselves sat four points adrift of the play-offs. Fans around the Exploria Stadium will also be concerned by their sides form in the final third. Orlando have recorded just one goal in over 300 minutes of action.
As for the visitors, while LAFC may have suffered a shock at home to Minnesota last time out, Bob Bradley’s men sit 16 points clear at the top of the West and are still the team to beat in America’s top-tier. Led by leading goalscorer and former Arsenal striker Carlos Vela who has already bagged an astonishing 27 goals so far, no team in either the West or the East holds a better-attacking record than Sunday’s guests. With the Whites picking up an empathic 4-1 win when the two sides met last season, we’re backing a similar outcome this weekend.
