Competition: MLS

Market: Los Angeles FC win and both teams to score

Odds: 9/5 @ Bet 365

Two of the heavy hitters in the Western Conference meet on Friday when Los Angeles FC face off against LA Galaxy at the Banc of California Stadium.

Starting with Bob Bradley’s Los Angeles FC side, although the MLS’ latest franchise are coming off the back of a shock 5-1 loss to Minnesota last time out, The Whites do boast a stellar record at the Banc of California Stadium and will enter Friday’s matchup as the favorite. Along with booking their place in the semi-finals of this years US Open Cup, courtesy of a 3-2 win over an impressive Portland Timbers side, the hosts are yet to lose a single matchup at home in their inaugural MLS campaign. While we do expect them to come away with three points and close the gap to Dallas at the top of the West, they will certainly face a tough test against a high-flying Galaxy side.

As for the visitors, while it may have been a tough 18 months for The Galaxy, led by former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, LA are on a three-match winning after putting three past Philadelphia last week. Picking up 11 points out of a possible 15 over their past five, The Whites have now climbed up to fourth and sit just four points adrift of their hosts on Friday. While Sigi Schmid’s side have now managed to find the net 14 times in their last five outings, they have now recorded just one clean sheet in their last eight.
