Lotito: Carrizo is not going anywhere

Lazio goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo has recently voiced his displeasure at being demoted to second choice at Lazio since the turn of the year, despite still being Argentina’s first choice keeper. President Claudio Lotito is unhappy with the player declaring his unrest through the media.

“He wants to go? He has a contract, so then he will remain at Lazio,” snapped the Bianconcelesti patron, to the Corierre dello Sport. “Maybe Carrizo, not quite fluent in the Italian language, has interpreted some things the wrong way. The choices are related to technical aspects of football,” he concluded.
