Lovenkrands keen on offers

Danish winger Peter Lovenkrands has admitted there are still no concrete offers on the table, following his departure from Newcastle.

The 29 year-old player, who joined the Magpies on a short-term contract in January, has been a free agent since his deal expired last week.

Lovenkrands, who insisted on Friday that he was in no rush to secure a move, is currently training by himself.

The Dane’s agent is trying to find him a new club and Lovenkrands is prepared to leave such matters in his hands until somebody firms up their interest.

“There are a few things going on and he is in some meetings,” Lovenkrands told Tipsbladet.

“I have told him not to bring me along until there is something concrete. I’m not there at all the meetings.”
