Lovren staying at Liverpool

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is set to stay at Anfield despite there being some significant interest from a series of European clubs over the course of the summer transfer window. Lovren was said to be on the verge of completing a move to both Roma and AC Milan, but Liverpool broke off the talks and have not entered back into them ever since.

The always confident Croatian isn’t a regular member of the starting XI anymore, and that’s been the case for quite some time now. He’s a great hand to have around and is capable of doing a decent enough job whenever he’s on form, but those days have been too few and far between in recent times.

He’ll always be remembered in one way or another by Liverpool fans, but now, it’s all about securing his future – whatever that means.
